Barbara Bradley HagertyAbout the Author:Barbara Bradley Hagerty has been the religion correspondent for National Public Radio since 2003. Formerly NPR’s Justice Department correspondent, she was part of the team that won both the Peabody and Overseas Press Club awards for coverage of the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001. She is the recipient of the Templeton-Cambridge Journalism Fellowship in Science and Religion, and a Knight Fellowship at Yale Law School. Before joining NPR, she was a reporter at The Christian Science Monitor for eleven years, including three years as Asia correspondent. She lives in Washington, D.C.
